Salary: $70K - $90K + Performance-Based Bonuses

KOMA Taekwondo isn’t just another martial arts school—we are a leadership development organization that uses martial arts as the vehicle to transform lives. Our mission is to build leaders through human connection, innovation, and a culture based on Biblical principles.

We currently operate three corporate-owned locations in South Overland Park, North Olathe, and Prairie Village, and we are launching our franchise model this year. That means significant opportunities for growth—not just for KOMA but for the person who steps into this role.

This is not a position where you’ll be told what to do. You will work directly with the founder to develop and execute high-level marketing strategies. We need a leader who sees the big picture, builds the roadmap, and executes at a high level. Your Mission

Own and execute KOMA’s entire marketing strategy, from lead generation to brand awareness

Develop and optimize high-converting campaigns across digital, local, and community channels

Create a scalable marketing playbook to guide future KOMA franchise owners on how to grow their location

Analyze and improve marketing performance with a focus on ROI, conversion rates, and revenue growth

Strengthen community partnerships to drive word-of-mouth referrals and long-term engagement

Work directly with leadership to align marketing with KOMA’s mission, values, and long-term expansion goals

Who You Are

• A marketing leader, not just a marketing manager—you know how to build, execute, and scale

• A strategic thinker who thrives on solving problems and driving measurable results

• Experienced in lead generation, digital marketing, and community engagement

• Data-driven, constantly testing, optimizing, and improving campaigns

• A strong communicator who can train and guide future franchise owners to market effectively

Self-motivated and ready to take full ownership of this role without needing direction


Your Experience & Skills

• Five or more years of marketing experience, preferably with family-focused businesses

• Deep expertise in paid advertising, SEO, social media, email marketing, and referral programs

• Experience creating marketing systems and training resources for multi-location businesses or franchises is a plus

• Background in martial arts, dance, tutoring, or other children’s programs is a bonus

Compensation & Growth Potential

Base Salary: $70K - $90K

Performance-Based Bonuses: Up to $30K, based on

• Hitting and exceeding lead generation and enrollment targets

• Direct contribution to revenue growth

• Successful implementation of franchise marketing strategies

Career Growth: As KOMA expands, this role could evolve into a VP or CMO position, with greater oversight and responsibility
